due to the massive popularity of races, i admit I was wrong before about how frequent these should be, and we should do them like every weekend lol

i say 1 every 2 weeks we should defintely have 1 impromptu for mm and oot every month

Indeed. That is quite agreeable. But of course, we need to know which ones on which week. I vote that OoT first and third week, and MM second and fourth week. Also, on sundays of the new week.

I think 2 a month is a good balance; one of OoT and one of MM.

It could go:
Month 1:
1st Saturday (OoT)
3rd Sunday (MM)

Month 2:
1st Sunday (OoT)
3rd Saturday (MM)

Or something to that effect. Doesn't have to be 1st and 3rd weekends every time, but if the days alternate it at least gives people a chance to participate in the game they want every other month. If we do every single week, that's fine too and it just works more like Aki posted except I would still throw in the Saturdays.

But we can iron out the details later, we still need a host for this Saturday's OoT one.

That 12 heart container challenge mentioned earlier gives me a good idea for a race.  I am going to try to be in the irc tomorrow and start the challenge at 4 pm eastern time.  I will go through with my challenge whether there are 100's or I am the only person doing it.  However, it would be preferable if someone else could host if there are others besides myself competing.

No kidding. Remen said that the goal would be given via a link. Then that was posted. I searched through it for a name... nada. Then the link was given.

Then I read the goal and then re-read it about 5 times trying to get the gist.

Overall there was too much text, a picture showing the full equipment screen + text like this would have been great:

"FILE NAME: grunzftw. The goal is to completely fill the equipment screen (all swords, shields, tunics, boots, a diving scale, bomb bag, a strength upgrade, and either the deku seed bag or quiver). None of the left-side items require uprades. The race ends upon the file name being said by Ganondorf in Ganon's Castle."

PS: Why was I kicked? I heard ZFG kicked mulitple people that were racing.... I didn;t realize I was not in #impromptu until a while into the race.
