Every time I read I can't avoid to notice that MST is the french translation of STD (sexually transmitted disease).

Make the runs a bit less magical...

(Same for BiTE from TP, it's the french for penis)

I watched the 3:15, ZFG, and I was surprised. I never had seen getting into Deku Tree as an Adult yet, so that made me pause the Video and say "WTF?"

But, I understand you when you say it's not very good.  I like to think it means I'm getting a little bit better at understanding what needs to be done for a run to succeed. I may be a speedrunner yet!

Can't wait to see more work on this in the future. Maybe some of the newer guys (*cough* ME! *cough*) will start working on learning the glitches and doing attempts.

All you have to do is watch his (unbelivable) 3:03 failed run to see that this isn't good. Now the real time category appears to be accepted at SDA are you going to do that or SS ZFG? Also haven't you had your month off yet? Can't wait to see this complete!

Ya I'll be doing RTA now.  The route is almost done, we just need to figure out where to put spirit and decide on either bottle or tunic (now that we skip kz, goron tunic actually stands a chance at being faster, and seems faster by ~30 seconds, but it makes the child part a harder and its already really fucking hard).  I'll post the new route in the 1st post when its made.  The new aim time will be 3:00 (I'm not sure if it can cut the 3 just yet).

And my month off got extended by....a few months.  Little motivation, RTA ruling and SM64 have been keeping me away from it, but I'll probably start practicing in a few days and should start attempts early next year.

I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes.

RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.

well, i guess to compete with zfg i will be including the intro in my attempts

also, i'm doing tunic and skipping bottle since ruto throw isn't a huge deal to me (i'm still not doing that chustab megaflip bullshit unless someone finds a pause buffer method for it that doesn't use many pauses), i just need to figure out how the water trial is going to work

Route in 1st post is updated.  We get goron tunic instead of bottle.

Will start practicing in a few days and start attempts early next year.

Isn't it faster to savewarp after botw chus, even on VC?

Same with:

-all the way to bow room
-back to twisting room and wallmaster warp to the entrance

Seems like a savewarp is faster there too. The rest looks pretty good to me. Good luck with this run!

Each savewarp costs 22 seconds.

I didn't think so for botw, but I just timed it and its about 5-8 seconds faster.  Will add that in.

As for bow, in my failed attempt it took me about 21 seconds from bow text ending to gaining control at the entrance again, though I had a suboptimal ocarina multidamage.  I'll probably do one or the other depending on my health. 1 1/2 hearts or lower deathwarp, if higher, then savewarp.

Edit:  Just realized this route doesn't get hover boots >_>.  Adding that.

And surprisingly its not faster to deathwarp/savewarp after hovers.  Only takes 18-19 seconds to get back to the first room from the hover boots chest.

Just got a terrible 3:06 (might be 3:05:5x) practice run.  Goal is definitely sub 3 now.

Would be impressed if you didn't sell your soul to this RTA fad.
