I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes.

RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.

This is the only way I'm playing OOT now. Good shit.

Edit: I lied. After playing through the route I've dubbed it too difficult for my current OOT skills.

-get ground jump woth pot+dodongo method (chu bomb flower is too risky) (7 chus)

Fast and easy Dodongo's Cavern Ground Jump

Practise this. I can do this pretty much 100% of the time on Gamecube, and it should be even easier on N64 because the controller is more button-mash-friendly. Not that this trick requires button mashing - it's easier than it looks.

Updated the route slightly.  I practiced the water temple boss key skip a lot and I have decoded I will use it in my run.  Also after jabu insyead of going from lake hylia to castle I decided to go through ZR because I can make it to the castle before night much more consistently that way.  Bottle dupe is also gone.

Theres still 2 things I'm not happy about in the route.  1 - getting the fish before jabu costs a full minute when using ruto on the blue switch costs no time at all but the throw has to be so precise to get ruto to the ledge.  2 - going from deku to fire temple I was planning on using a hoverslide into darunias room early to get to the crater from there which would save about a minute but like #1 I just can't get it consistently enough.  I'll practice hoverslide more later but I'm sure I wont be able to get ruto to that ledge Sad

I'm sure we can develop some strategies to ease your pain. Just needs some practice and repeatable steps.

Ok I can finally get the hoverslide to darunias room consistently so I'll be doing it in the run, however if I screw it up even once I'll just go up DM to DMC because the time saves becomes significantly less.  I'll practice the ruto throw some more, if I can get that consistently then I'll be very happy with this route Smiley

Getting better at the ruto throw.  Still not consistent enough for an SS but I'm getting there.

No Major Skips.

I played through the route this week. This run is ridiculously hard and it'll indeed be badass when it's done.
