since it is a really old game by now, i'm guessing any new discs are going to be the latest version without many glitches.

Useless knowledge ahoy.

Night Cycle: 7:40
Day Cycle: 9:00

If you save and quit, it remembers your time from where you save.

Anyway, I've changed my segmented 100% to single segment RTA. I'll be able to post a route when I test it more.

While messing around with LJ I decided to see if there may be a way to skip forest temple bk. I know it is barely out of the way, but I was just interested to see if it could be done. After looking around, I found that there is a hole in the wall that is covered by a texture which aims at the bk door. Basically it looks like it might be possible, but I suck at ljs so I haven't been able to do extensive testing.
Here's a video of it:

I'm not sure if its possible to get straight into the loading zone, but it might be possible to land on the floor right in front of the bk door if it stretches oob and then walk to the loading zone while oob from there. The rest of the wall around the hole seems to be solid, so it might also be possible to land on the bottom of the hole in the wall, and then from there do a lj to either the floor or the loading zone.

Have you tested and confirmed with a cheat device that there is a loading zone oob for bosses?  I think the only way to activate a boss fight is to physically open the boss door, but I could be wrong.  The only exception I know of is Lakebed Temple, since there is a separate loading zone you jump into once the boss door is open.  Because it is technically part of the grand hall area, it's still active when you are there, allowing you to get to Morpheel early.

Yeah, the loading zone isn't there. Surreal used super spinner and got behind the door and nothing happened. All transitional loading zones (with the few exceptions like Lakebed Temple) are tied to the door.

Using a slow version on purpose is your choice, but you will get no sympathy or agreement from me.

Hey, everyone, I found a kind of a superslide a couple years ago but I can't record. Basically, you get on Epona, use a spur, then press and release R (I prefer holding for a bit though) at the last second before Link sits up, press A. If done correctly, you'll dismount while Epona is still moving and rocket forward for a time. I lamely dubbed it the 'Eponaslide!' If we could some how extend out of it, it could be pretty useful! I hope the description is enough for someone to record it in my place.

I think this is an example of this glitch in TPFox's unfinished speed run:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=o0nYzepLucY  at 1:55 seconds in, he pulls off the trick.

Good job on finding it on your own though Smiley

Yeah, that's an epona slide. It's pretty old. It doesn't have any uses really, other than just looking cool.

I haven't seen this specific glitch before, but I've seen similar bugs with different game flags persisting even after a non bit reset. One thing that comes to mind is a very old, lesser known glitch in the forest temple where resetting during the monkey collecting portion of the forest temple allows you to transfer them to a second save.
