So, wait... playing through a game really fast is skill? What you're basically doing is memorising the fastest route through the game, without involving yourself in the story or sidequests at all. Am I missing something here? How exactly is that fun? My favorite thing about this quote is that the writer forgets his point and changes it from "playing fast is a skill?" to "how is that fun?" |

On the topic of noobish mario moments, look no further than Siglemic's live streams over the past couple weeks. Whether its the everyday victories of trolls saying Sig is a 300lb swedish girl who makes live TASes with Windows IMovie or the epic wins of preteens asking for a link to how he can make glitches in games, guessing a time of 12.7 when hes on the TTM slide, or asking why he only gets 120 stars when there are obviously 150 in the game. The important thing is that whenever Sig starts, they all are determined that THIS IS THE RUN, but only if he gets extra lives from Yoshi first.
