Using a slow version on purpose is your choice, but you will get no sympathy or agreement from me.

Thanks for the links. What text skip exactly are you talking about?

For text mashing (text skip), hold the console so your thumbs are on the A and B buttons. Then, just alternate them at a natural pace. It should be decently quick, but don't spaz out on them. See my quality test vid to see this in action, although I start at the wrong time so it's a bit fucked up.

Also if anyone is the Cosmo of 3D, it's CloudMax hands down.

EDIT that is a painfully slow hellfire skip, I'll record my method later.

I kind of have a rhythm I try and follow with text. I used to be better at it, but then I learned to zombie hover in WW so my mashing got a lot faster and now sometimes I find I have to slow myself down to be more consistent.

Oh that, yeah I just mash B. I don't even mash A anymore because I have the parts in certain conversations when you have to say 'Yes' to something memorized, so mashing them both is less effective to me then mashing B.

I finally finished a run.... 49:39. Just... god damnit. sling room skips were horrid, and I had to do the wrong warp twice before I finally learned when to press A, timing on that shouldn't be a problem anymore, it's mostly just practicing sling room skips.

Well, at least I finished  Grin

Cheesy Hellfire tutorial for noobs and vets alike. Sorry to Tom Nook for unconscious rudeness. Hope we can still be online buddies.
