Help me with ground jump?

Well I was continuing my glitch learning and I came to ground jumping.It said hold z,put out a bomb,step backward,pull out your sword,hold out your shield,press A to put your sword back,let bomb explode,do a backflip and instead you ground jump well ok.When I press a to put my sword back instead I jump attack.What the hell am I doing wrong?

I do it by dropping a bomb, stepping back, swinging my sword, then holding my shield up while Z targeting and mashing A until the bomb explodes. I don't ever put my sword away in that process. Look for a youtube video of it. They're pretty common.

You are too far away from the bomb. The A button should say Grab.

the easy way: drop bomb, walk back so icon says grab, hit a while z targeting (wow. that sounds like navi) and immeditly press and hold r. bomb explodes, backflip=jump.
