Segment 11i don't think rupees are an issue anymore. I got a red rupee in segment 9, i'll be picking up a few blues in segment 12, and if there aren't another 15 right in the way then I'll just grab one from a hydra in LMF which wouldn't really cost me any time.

In Segment 8, after the cutscene at the top of the stairs finishes. Start charging your skyward strike and then use it from the last stone you would normally need to jump from.
EDIT: Is it also possible to get holy water at the end of that segment?

Unfortunately, no. The Sacred Water does not exist until you talk to Faron the first time. |

I was aware of that. I didn't take the heart container because it would make deathwarping slower. Even just one extra heart means it'll take 4 hits instead of 3 to die.
but more hearts (especially on hero mode) is a good thing. even if deathwarping at MAX hp takes longer. You can plan your damage. There are quite a few bomb spots that are sped up by attacking the bomb. thats a quick 2 hearts that do not replenish. i am pretty certain that AT LEAST the skyview one is beneficial to get. Also, how do you do the horde battle without getting absolutely owned in hero mode? I found that so much damage was quite hard to avoid. its easy to die to it without a fairy. |

I highly doubt it, I think you need scale and talk with Faron to get the alternate temple. In segment 13, before the bomb bag, couldn't you throw the bomb from further back, and before it goes through the crawlspace you could roll through it to get a bit closer? |
