i was thinking about how mario has the no b button challenge, and i was thinking if it was possible to complete oot or mm without hitting the z button at all. obviously you would have to natural route most of it and it would make certain fights tougher. is this possible, i am having a hard time thinking of any time where it is absolutely necessary.

Does the Boomerang Angle count as Z-target to you? If so the Baricade is impossible and you cant beat it because you cant DoT skip, another thing is ISG, is your angle for ISG counted as Z-target? that one doesnt matter but it would make it easier.

But I think nothing REQUIRES Z target but I dont know

Trying to impersonate me, eh?

Btw, no Z doesn't make for an interesting challenge. You never really need C for anything in the natural route, and many of the breaks are possible (albeit harder) without Z. The biggest problem would be no backflipping or sidehopping, but some tricks either don't require those or have ways around them.

I like no Down on A ever better.

the question is, is THAT possible lol cuz that renders the BotW chus impossible for certain lol hmmmmm I cant think of any place that its necessary though. You cant do any temples at all so you will be forced to RBA it for your items and Hover boots i *think* are impossible but they arent needed I know that

This challenge is the easiest shit in the universe - just use the GC version and don't use the Z button for down-C Cheesy

Not to derail but this is possible:
-Escape
-Zora River Rock clip
-Silver Scale
-Ruto Bottle
-Scarecrow song
-Move KZ
-any% RBA route as normal (just avoid the ladders in LW, to Hylia, etc.)
