first off i want to say that all the route planning and all the tricks that went into this run is awsome and pokey truly deserves great credit. as i am so impressed by the run i edited it into what i call a no spoilers run of the game. this eliminates the cutscenes, transitions, pauses, and any other part of the game where link is not being controlled by pokey. this can make the run more interesting to watch, or if you just need to watch the route for some reason it is faster than watching the entire run. one of the things i like about this is that it removes the pause buffering which enhances the experience overall. however he already skipped the cutscene so i was only able to shave 36 minutes off it (about haved the time). i plan to keep doing these for all sorts of different runs on sda/zsr (i wanted to do majoras mask but it looks like jiano will have a new one up soon so im going to wait). i do have pokeys permission to put this up, and feel free to pm me any questions.

the video is split into 4 parts (each is exactly 10 minutes)

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_9XK5v0G4ro   (part 1)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eIlriMGzEbA     (part 2)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=alOSZ0MGt5M  (part 3)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=v1KBCv11jgE   (part 4)

EDIT i reuploaded the videos after i fixed the problems mentioned to me, and if movie maker likes me i will start on one of these for either windwaker/twilight princess later today

Cool, this should be done more often.  Metroid prime runners do this all the time, I hope it becomes standard here (especially considering we have much longer, more boring cutscenes than metroid prime).

There seems to be some technical difficulties though.  Part 2 has some weird flashing from 3:05-4:32 and part 3 has no sound.

I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes.

RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.

ya ill reup without the tech difficulties. im using a vista x64 laptop and movie maker crashes every 5 seconds so i had to find an alternative. unfortunately that alternative is not as good, compiling makes the videos larger than they should be, and video files get messed up. my next vid will be with movie maker tho as i am about ready to format one of my xp computers=)

Metroid Prime runners do it because the time doesn't count during pause screens/cutscenes. But for us, pauses do count, so we are removing actual timed content from the video. I also disagree with removing pause screens for equipment, but I guess removing pauses for buffering is okay.

But doing this means people won't watch the commentary version Sad

you shouldn't have cut out the cucco dive cutscene, imo.
my opinion, the only scenes that should be cut out are ones that you just have to wait to go by or the player is just mashing a to make them go by. So menu selection and stuff should be left in, I think pause buffering should be left in unless it's really too much. Also, the quality frankly is not very good on these uploads, sorry to say.
