Warning: This route is pretty outdated and it is not recommended that you follow this. Talk to elminster for a more recent route, as one isn't written up yet.

Current route as of 6/7/10:
NOTE: Due to uncertainty in day/night cycles when actually running, this route may need to be edited slightly in order to have time-specific events work out, such as entering the Market.

Also, keep in mind that this is not the absolute fastest route. It sacrifices some time in order to skip 3 of the hardest tricks in the run (and as a consequence a few sessions of chu bowling).

Furthermore, as this route has not been tested, it is a good idea to skip some extra chu uses as adult when possible (poe ss warp to shadow temple, etc), just in case I forgot something.

Hey, low% MST was a category before I even started glitching zelda. Even if it isn't SDA official, a lot of people consider it a legitimate division.

low% MST sounds fun but would never be on SDA until they solve their banwidth issues. archive.org and youtube would appreciate the run, tough...

I might try this some day just for fun Smiley

Low% MST SS is the best run because it uses Faster Gate Skip  Grin

I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes.

RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.

I take full credit for thinking up this type of run and its original route.

http://speeddemosarchive.com/forum/index.php/topic,5097.msg259961.html#msg259961

First route (updated from it ORIGINAL form but no longer up-to-date).

Okay, with the new silver block skip major changes for low% mst since chus are no longer ultra limited. I made the most obvious changes - alteration of chu counts, moved water temple from child to adult to cut out an extra trip to Hylia, and added a few more small tricks like the megaflip to zora's domain.

However, there are still more changes to be made that I don't have time to do right now. We have four leftover chus, so magic can definitely be moved to adult, saving a fair ammount of time. Other things can be reorganized also.

Edit: Er, oh, and I just realized I forgot to allocate a chu for killing the beamos in adult spirit. That will come out of the four leftovers, but what other small mistake could I have made? Anyone care to proofread / test? :p

Edit2:

Okay, I made a total rewrite of the route. It is now a TON more optomized. Some changes include one less chu bowl, only one trip to Ganon's Castle, multiple temples without returning to Temple of Time, not going completely out of the way for magic as a child, skipping half of Dodongo's Cavern I was too ignorant to skip before, various tricks to skip using chus, fire temple boss key skip instead of grunz's maze trick (saves time and chus), water temple as adult instead of child, faster overall traveling routes as child and adult, and probably more I'm forgetting. Seriously, the route is way different.

After discovering a trick by watching Cosmo's 100% IL for fire, I made a pretty different route. I cannot tell if it is easier or harder, or if it is faster or slower.

[ROUTE DELETED DUE TO BEING VERY OUT OF DATE AND TAKING UP A LOT OF SPACE]

Updated first post with route v 4.0. The big change? A new item skip :O :O. Thanks to the new well trick, and the fact that low% MST never gets sticks on B, we can now skip Deku Sticks.

Notable changes:
1) Instead of going to the desert first, this route now goes to Kakriko for Cucco bottle + well chus
2) Afterwards, the route heads to GTG, since 10 chus isn't enough to beat KD w/o sticks or letter, even with an oob entry of DC
3) After training ground chus, the route continues as before until just before DoT skip. Instead of becoming adult, the route heads back to the desert and gets Mirror Shield
4) There is another set of 3 chu bowls before becoming adult, which happens immediately after Mirror Shield
5) Water temple strategy changed slightly, thanks to distance sideflip-hovers

Hooray for 28 items!

Yes you can. Grunz has a video of him doing the oob silver block skip on n64. All that matters is that the room is beneath you...even if you are above the ceiling the game won't crash.
