I don't know if anyone found this out already, but when you steal the rod and replace the biggoron's sword you can't use it anymore.  I found out myself that if you buy the giant's knife from the biggoron's brother, you will instead have the biggoron's sword back!  This made me so happy because I will be able to defeat enemies faster! Cheesy
