There's different types of skill, in my opinion. I'm a guy who can do adult superslides and bridge skip, but can't do kid superslides.
I can do botw chu's but can't forest escape.

This is a pretty bold topic to post because there are a lot of egos when it comes to Zelda, I've noticed since way back in the old SDA threads.
It also depends if you are considering TAS as well as console runners. Segmented vs single segment, etc. There are a lot of great runners on this site in all categories. Not to mention overall knowledge of tricks and how to do them.
I like how when we do races there are so many people that could win. It's fun when the outcome could go to 5 or more different people on any given day.

How about we have a contest? it'd be some run. something that can prove you're the best. low% race OoT? well, that'd be an endurance run, now wouldn't it?
Jiano's the MM champion hands down. but like RG said, look at AniMeowzerz. He may not be the best Zelda player in terms of hard tricks, but OVERALL he's really good, and makes great Single Segment runs. There's a load of different between SS and segmented.
We'd need an accurate way to gauge who's the best. something, whatever it is.

I am pretty confident that Jiano is the best MM player there is. For OoT, I'd have to give the title to Runnerguy2489 with BrianMP16 very close behind.
