Float Down Zora's River
Wait outside the drawbridge all night
Hyrule Castle
Get caught by the guards twice

Go all the way to Goron City, take fire from Darunia's room and open Lost Woods
Saria's Song
Remembered I need four hearts, so I went back to DT and killed Gohma
Goron City through Lost Woods, got Goron Bracelet
Open Dodongo's Cavern
Bomb Bag
Realized that I'll get lost in the Wasteland without Lens of Truth, so I got magic
Ride owl to Kakariko, Cucco Dive into Bottom of the Well
Somehow spawn Dead Hand out of bounds, reset, try again and get Lens of Truth
Head to Gerudo Valley, fail Cucco Jump 20 times, quit.

I was at the Silver Gauntlet chest, ready to hover to the Mirror Shield chest at 1:56:00 into the race. Then I spent an hour and ten minutes trying to hover to it in any way possible. I tried hovering from inside, outside, chus, bombs. No dice. I am usually pretty good at hovering although I haven't done it as a child in a while... I can do it as an adult just fine (although people were saying it's exactly the same as adult/child). So confusing and disappointing for me.

Everyone else took a much safer route than trying to hover from the Silver Gauntlets chest over to the Mirror Shield Chest. Instead of doing that, they just tried getting to the other staircase to the adult side in the main room by getting a key in the room after the main room (with the sun block and the silver rupees), and backtracking.

You can't hover from SG chest to mirror because of the slippery slopes on the statue.
