hey guys i discovered a new way to HESS but it requires nayrus lover to do it you have to ESS of a megaflip so yo go very slow than while nayrus love is still up take out a bomb or chu (bombs are easier btw). about 1/3 to half the time the bomb is gonna explode drop the bomb and stay sheilding if done correctly you will do a HESS. So is the boomerang really necessary to beat the boss or could something of adault link work too? Like fire/ice arrows or hookshot.
Yes boomerang is the only item that can stun Barinade. |

I think I discovered something new...
I was screwing around with this cheat I discovered that overwrites what the next area to load would be when I ended up in the Water Temple. I was Young Link at the time, and I swam up to the center part of the level. As I was climbing I noticed a Tektite was approaching so I quick held down on shield so to block the attack, and I just narrowly avoided damage. But then I noticed that the camera sort of locked up and wasn't following me like normal, almost as if I had activated ISG. However I accidentally ran off the edge and fell into the water, which de-activated it.
I'm not entirely sure if I targeted the Tektite or not......

Probably old but you can go up waterfalls which have a wall behind them by using jumpslashes. Pointless anyways.

I'm sure this is already known, but during a run today I went to play the scarecrow's song and after playing it link just stood in the playing the ocarina animation. However, the last note was never recorded as played, but the song was. Completely ruined my run...

Yes, this has happened to both Jiano and me in races. Really sucks. I do not know the cause, but when you first pick the notes it seems to help to hit the buttons a bit more slowly.

I'm not sure if this is the right thread to put this in, but I thought it would be kind of fun to share. A friend of mine (he's able to do cucco jump at gerudo) and me are basically going through and seeing how much you can collect as a kid (before collecting Master Sword for the first time) using glitches and stuff. So far tonight we've been able to get a number of things, and we were just having fun with the game using the different hovering glitches with bombs and such.
Normal stuff you can do without glitches - 45 skulltulas (including dodongo one)
11 1/4 hearts (3 container, 21 pieces)
giant wallet, all expansions, stone of agony
mask of truth, 8 out of 10 beans planted
all spiritual stones and dungeon items
early well - lens of truth
(cucco dive) 3 skulltulas
all other items
Early gerudo stuff (got the Cucco jump after like...50 tries, lol)- got gerudo membership
mushroom in chest (13 bombchus + megaflip) (the mushroom surprised us greatly, we thought there was a heart piece there)
heart piece on ledge above cell (16 bombchus from chest)
skulltula in wasteland
skulltula in dirt patch
nayru's love
heart piece on arch (megaflip from gauntlet ledge/hand)
all temple items except boss key
all five spirit temple skulltulas
Lake hylia - heart piece on roof (19 bombchus, from small
bridge of land)
Early fire - skulltula in dirt patch (still trying to figure out how to get into the temple without levitate or crooked cartridge)
Early forest - 3 skulltulas so far
map (megaflip in box room for sequence breaking)
I know this doesn't really...help with anything, but for two rookies at this, we were infinitely pleased with ourselves. And this was all in one night, we're doing more later on. XD

Someone should post the full list, preferably with asterisks over things that require RBA.

That's called Max% Child. Just so you know, the only medallion you can get is Water. Forest/Shadow both crash if you enter the blue warp, and you cannot beat Fire/Spirit.

The only things you RBA are the Goron and Zora Tunic I'm pretty sure. Oh and broken giant's knife.
Have fun getting the Longshot. It's the dumbest shit ever.
