New Fire Temple Big Key Skip! Faster, easier, and uses less bombs than the old one.

Exodus found this trick on emulator and posted the video in the IRC. It was very very difficult and inconsistent so I spent a couple hours working on a setup. I managed to find a consistent angle setup and a way to skip the jumpslash the original method required to just barely make the load zone (hitting the load zone is no longer an issue).

Full details and instructions are in the video description:

Came supprisingly close to doing this with a chu megaflip-slide. Might work nicely for a low%(?)

Even if you clip out of bounds with a chu megaflip/sidehop, without hover boots (which low% mst doesn't have), you probably couldn't reach the loading zone. Worth a try though, as it'd save a ton of time.

If you mean normal low%, no contorted route would ever bring low% to fighting Volvagia.

Trick in DC as adult to get the GS above the stairs without supersliding or longshot http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2Wa3A6Mg5_c .  Should save a lot of time in 100%.

I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes.

RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.

Nice.  1st strat is half old, I don't think it was known you could get on the high ledge without landing on the smaller ledge below first.  Sideroll jumpslash strat is cool but I don't think there would be a reason to use it since you need hover boots to get there anyway (though if its possible to get there without hover boots or explosives, that would be great for any%).

Pretty sure that this is new. Found a way to unload the lower part of zora's river using a mega-sidehop (have not tested a megaflip) at this angle:

With this you simply clip out of bounds and you can enter some OoB water and float back to the surface. The terrain is all present but simply unloaded:

Fire Temple Boss Key Skip
Pretty much the same as Exodus' new one, except it does a z slide instead of a superslide.
This is necessary for Low% MST since it doesn't get Bombs.

I'm probably late to the party, but figured I should post it anyways.

Comparison of the Kokiri guard with and without Zelda's Lullaby.

Can that really be enough to cause it to be harder?

Apparently yes.  Though it might just be needing a different angle and it just seems harder because we're not used to it.
