The current weekly race is at 8PM Eastern on Sunday.
This time is bad for our European friends, almost all of whom are in France: 2AM.
Sunday is also very bad since many of us have work or class in the morning on Monday and would benefit from having sleep the night before.

If I'm not mistaken, Sunday was originally chosen so as not to conflict with the ALttP weekly, but since those days the runners for LA/DX and for ALttP don't really overlap.
What time would people like to see for the weekly races? New/potential runners especially should voice their opinions!

I'd be more than happy to change the weekly time to accommodate the European runners. I think I've heard some people say they wanted it around 4pm eastern? This sounds reasonable to me. Really I'm up for any time change that gets more people running.

I prefer to alienate everyone, so I think we should keep it at the same time.

I think having a 4PM EST race AND a 8PM EST race could work.  This way if people wanna race more then once they can (if available).  I personally would work for 8PM EST but would try and join the 4PM one as well.

I've extended this question on times to the Europeans since it affects them the most:
  • Cravone
  • Hawkrex
  • Ulqui
  • Daemona
  • Aullos
Did I miss anybody?

From 3PM to 5PM EST seems good for me. I guess 4PM would work the best.

And is racing on Saturday absolutely impossible ? Cause I wouldn't mind racing at 8PM EST on Saturday.

Also several races sounds good.

4 PM EST is nice..gives me time to actually wake up and relax a while before a race on a sunday. Which is 1 PM PST, so that west coast people can be done lunch, or whatever they do on sundays. And it's not too late for EU people, so they can do a race before they need to sleep.

4PM it is. I'll update the IRC topic accordingly. Smiley

Can you also keep a note on there about the 2nd one at 8PM EST Smiley
I don't want people thinking 4PM is the only "planned" race on Sundays, us older folk may have plans earlier in the day.
