Some people were interested in a puzzle for New Year's Eve and I came up with one which should be fun for every participant. Natalyahasdied has helped me with a few things since I haven't created a puzzle goal before and I'll probably change restrictions to allow more creative ways of completing it.
I'm not sure whether I can host the race on SRL myself but I will definitely find someone to do it in my stead if you guys are interested so let me know which time/date you'd prefer. 12/31/14 or 01/01/15 seem most appropriate to me to keep the themed puzzle related to the date.

P.S.: The puzzle won't take too long to complete if you know what you're doing and doesn't include really difficult tricks. PAL entrants are very welcome and will get supported if they struggle with any setups.

The puzzle doesn't need to take place on the days mentioned in my previous post. We could do it a few days later if the majority agrees.
From what I've heard so far, it will probably happen on 01/01/15 around 2 pm EST/ 7 pm UTC/ 8 pm CET. It's open for anyone so tell me which time slot would suit you most if you can't participate otherwise.

I've never done a puzzle before but I want to give it a shot. Any date works for me.

I can participate if the race is at starts between 1-2 PM on some day between 1/1 and 1-4.

Do you mean 1-2 PM Eastern or Pacific time zone? I was also considering doing the race on 01/03 a little bit later but the time I posted previously for 01/01 seems most promising right now. I'll try to start a race channel at least an hour in advance so people can gather and I'll answer general questions or questions about the race.
It won't be recorded on SRL so your points won't change. The goal itself, final results and times, however, will be posted here.

The commented video solution is finally available. I also updated the image link and pastebin wording in the previous post.

I've recorded it more than a week ago but I had serious problems with the upload to youtube which got interrupted twice. I hope you guys will enjoy it anyway.
