What is the new trick?

If you target a wall on same frame you start grabbing the ledge, then Link will grab the ledge in a different orientation than he normally does. This allows for clipping into areas that was previously impossible.



When was this trick found?

Skater accidentally found this glitch on July 4th, 2014; the Twitch highlight is here.
After performing the glitch and failing to duplicate it, someone in his chat (who?) suggested to try pressing Z while doing the roll, which ending up working.
