Beginner that needs help with a route

Hello everyone! I'm new here been a lurker for about a month. first i was doing any% and did everything to a T except ganondoor(still cant get it) and also did a majoras mask run where im at the STT Temple and cant get passed the 2nd block ><.

Anyways back to the top i decided to start a new run i figured id try RBA. Well i messed up and didnt plant the bean at lake hylia or get bombhus. Can i recover this run any way? i have bombs from RBA when i picked up mastersword. I just went to try out DoT skip a few times and gt it like 6th try.

Hover/superslide teleport into shadow, get hover boots and then do reverse dot skip.

Thanks a lot for replying so quickly . I'll go give it a shot and let ya know how it pans out. I need to learn the SS Teleport anyways hopefully it wont give me too much trouble.

Edit: Is there anyway i can still get chus? i know theres the flying carpet guy in the desert. but i still need to find bombs? (not getting bomb drops have bombs on c down from RBA)

i started a new route and i can get under the well get the actor glitch but just cant get the skulltula clip. any alternatives? like i said my goal is just to do a successful any% this is my first time

Well I got lullaby. is rba and low% the only routes I can do without early chus? It doesn't have to be specific this is just practice/tests. I can't and permanantly messed the vine clip method up by saving on accident.

On the bright side I just did DoT skip third try so that is something I'm not worried about going whichever route I can take. I just can't get early chus

If you have bombs you can get the chus the normal way (otherwise no vineclip is your only option)

You can always get chus from the flying carpet guy even if you go adult without anything.

0. get hookshot
1. Get 10 GS
2. Get 200 rupee bag
3. get 200 rupees
4. go to gerudo valley and hookshot over bridge (pretty easy with isg)
5. get the gerudo card
6. open the gate and then go to the carpet sales guy and buy 10
7. after this you can always ss teleport to shadow and then get hovers and go back as child

You can always do the vineclip even if you saved. The door doesn't have to be locked for actor glitch.
The best way to get better is just to practice. Once you start learning how to do tricks other tricks come easier.

There are a lot of categories but any%, no rba, mst, 100% and glitchless are the most common that do not use wellchus

thanks for the replys guys. i actually started over did the early shadow skip clipped SS over gap after boss key killed bongo and then went to spirit etc.. just did the final blow as i type this skipped trials also. Feels great to have my first any% playthrough

now going to figure out what route to take next maybe rba? or ganondoor that i already have set up.i hold  z and left immediately after i throw the nut end up on the opposite site. i also hold right and sometimes down during the OI

anyways thanks a lot guys i feel pretty proud of myself at the moment. glad to be a part of this board
