TASK 7:Enter Death Mountain Trail coming from Death Mountain Crater as Adult and obtain the Heart Piece and 2 out of 3 Golden Skulltulas of this area. Enter Kakariko afterwards.Timing starts at the frame you get control over link and ends when you enter the loading zone of Kakariko. You are allowed to use any items apart from Nayru's Love. There's no limit of Bombchus and Bombs. Here's a Save State, so preparing for the task gets easier for you: https://mega.co.nz/#!t1dn1BxZ!TjmC0y4XXSAiCBgiy3guCC5yetIWOLeeY0eCBoAbl6M In order to submit, just sent me a message containing a download link of the m64 + Save Stat on youtube, this forum or send me an e-mail to the following address: kai.guender@yahoo.de
Some more stuff, that will probably be helpful for many people: The MHS file "Ocarina of Time" is for U 1.0 played on Mupen Pause Fix and "OoT J" is for J 1.0 played on Mupen Reset Recording. Here are the results of Task 7:Name Time [Rerecords]1. MrGrunz 31,80 [7332] 2. Bloobiebla 32,95 [3621] 3. Sam 34,20 [7536] 4. Lilkcough1 35,95 [3964] 5. MTA 37,40 [2237] 6. Fox 37,65 [1625] 7. Amphorce 38,80 [709] 8. Chabo 40,15 [1671] 9. Kosmicd12 44,85 [1970] 10. Eizer 60,4 [960]

Is this on the English version or the Japanese version? (Or does it really even matter?)

I'm still not sure if I'll end up joining this or not but in case I do give it a try, could someone send me there MHS save file with all the addresses I'll need for TASing this game? It would be really helpful

The thing is, we use many different Mupen versions for TASing Ocarina of Time. I can provide all the addresses for U 1.0 played on Mupen Pause Fix and the ones for 1.0 J played on Mupen reset recording.
Of course, when you use a different Mupen or Rom you simply need one comparison address (usually speed, which is easy to find) and then you can simply convert all the other addresses with a little bit of math.
I'll upload the MHS files within the next hours.

Could you upload a .m64 of one of you previous submissions to a TAS competition or something? I forget a lot of stuff about A Sliding. Even cooler if you can upload one that does stuff like turning around in the explosion before sliding/flipping off it.

I'm certainly entering. I assume timing starts/stops at first frame of gaining/losing control of link? I can't wait to get 3rd/4th/whatever I get. This'll be fun.

Here are the promised MHS addresses: https://mega.co.nz/#!AwkRCZjQ!MycvsyuvLHx0mn9IsCXoAmmsr3B2cPbSaRB59dyHS4k Like I said, the file "Ocarina of Time" is for U 1.0 played on Mupen Pause Fix and "OoT J" is for J 1.0 played on Mupen Reset Recording.
Here is also the demanded m64, that includes most of the nescassary sliding stuff. Sadly, I've never TASed a HISS, so I can't provide a m64 doing it: https://mega.co.nz/#!909CyYCI!PwwGGj6eP1ISu6KJAlZHqBnqc-oKOlQ5PEOtWUODLjY I've also added the links in the first post of this thread.

The state you posted wasn't set at night to get the skulls. Would it be okay if I start the tas at night or should I get sun song?

The rules dont say anything about that, so I'd imagine you'd be fine starting the TAS at night, so long as all the other rules are met

Okay, so I've been away this whole week, so I haven't had time to do this, so I won't enter this one. Next one (if it ever happens), I will try to join. Good luck to everyone though
