Child dungeon route? Route for what might I ask. Just a speedrun? What category? I might be able to help if I know.

Wouldnt it be the same as MST, you just warp into a different area?

Using a slow version on purpose is your choice, but you will get no sympathy or agreement from me.

I would say that it would be similar to MST. Either have a NG+ file with Farore's wind to wrong warp out and skip the creation cutscene or have the master sword. Personally, form experience, doing the dungeons in normal order with a NG+ master sword file usually has a faster child route because there is less backtracking and less usually goes wrong (I'm looking at you flame skip).

So are you actually going to keep resetting until you get it perfect, or do you just want to play through the route for fun?

If it's just for fun, this might work...

Hammer ng+, Single Segment
get 15r, buy nuts (stick optional)
WWT (getting sword optional, but don't equip)
Owl Skip if you got a stick
get rupees from chains, ZL
ZD, get stick
Silver Scale, to Lake Hylia
Ruto bottle, move king zora
Warp to LW, Saria's Song (3 Owl Skips, good luck)
Warp to GC, break rocks, bracelet, sticks
DC, get shield, don't equip
To Hyrule Field, equip shield, Owl Skip
Megaflip HESS to forest (Owl Skip without breaking HESS)
GDT
LW warp to ZR, ZD
Bottle dupe over nuts, 2 fish
Jabu (Bigocto skip, equip Sword if you have it, otherwise kill boss with sticks)

Route largely centered around avoiding intro cutscenes, Hyrule Field is skippable but that takes an extra trip through GC, ZR skippable but that requires TSC navi dive which means you lose your hammer, ZD skippable but needs both TSC dive and intro for either Lake Hylia or Gerudo Valley. GC, DMT, Kakariko, Lake Hylia are all visited with no cutscene.

Only inconsistent stuff in here is the DC slingshot skip and the HESS, but if you miss that a regular bombslide will work, so it's good for casual runs and fun to play through.

It seems redundant to note all the owl skips, but they're surprisingly easy to forget. You keep the hammer for so long (if you get the sword) because it makes them a lot easier. Sadly you can't skip the ZR Owl because you don't have chus.

Without NG+ what i was thinking was
-Sword
-Shield
-DT (Optional: Grab Slingshot)
-ZL
-Cucoo Bottle
-Open Gate
-Saria's Song
-Goron's Bracelet
-DC
-Fish in Zora's Domain
-TSC past King Zora
-Jabu Jabu's Belly(Megaflip for octo skip)
-Ocarina of Time/finsih
*If anyone has any other ideas please feel free to correct
