Turns out nobody can do saturday. So we are going to do sunday unless a lot of people really can't do that.
Since nobody was appointed to lead this thing I appoint myself. :p

What are some good thing to work on? I can't get consistent superslides yet so probably backwalking/sidehopping? And just some other assorted glitches?

Bomb Hovering. Seriously like 90% of tricks in this game are from hovering like a madman, it's your key to success. The rest is pretty much just simple MM knowledge. Superslides are hardly ever necessary.

I've been thinking of a way to skip the first cycle in an impromptu. The reason we'd want to do this in the first place is because the first cycle takes about 30 minutes to complete, but has relatively little strategy to it.  This is the best i could come up with. Each mask is color coded based on how difficult it is to get them. Green masks are the easiest to get (except maybe the captain's mask). Yellow masks are the more difficult masks to obtain in one 3 day cycle. Red are the hardest to obtain in a single 3 day cycle. Blue can only be obtained on the final day (i think).

The idea is for the host to pick 3 of the green masks. Runners must ONLY obtain those 3 masks out of the green, otherwise they'll be disqualified. Saving by going back to Day 1 would be banned. I haven't gotten much farther on the idea though

We still need the song of time just incase somebody fucks up, and I'm pretty sure the majority will.

I'd say move this to 2EST because the earlier the better, considering some people (myself included) have somewhere to go for Easter dinner. If it's at 2, it will definately finish before I have to go.

Since Jiano was the one who wanted this impromptu in the first place, I'm going to be compliant to his will. If he can get off work on Sunday, then the race will be Sunday; otherwise, the race will be on Saturday as planned.

When will the next Impromptu be? After looking at an Impromptu is, I kinda want to join in. The last one was almost over a year ago, but maybe we can restart this. I think it would be fun. Maybe Kaztalek can join in too. =) Time to prove how great a MM player you are Kaz.

What impromptus used to be are basically what races are now.  In the irc if you join #speedrunslive you can look for some people to race OoT/MM and many other games.
