Hey i just thought of something - if having deku sticks on b (but not having them in your inventory) counts as obtaining sticks, then why doesn't the same apply to bombs on c-down when you become adult?
is it because the bombs on c-down are unusable unless you rba an amount of them?
Because the people that play low% the most make arbitrary decisions and rules for the category based on what they prefer. |

well, low% is a pretty arbitrary category considering there's no real percent counter for the game. if it was like metroid where it actually tracks your percentage there would be no need for a set of rules for low%. but since there is not a percent counter we have to have a set of rules for low%, and the rules of low% are based on what we as a community prefer. |

I finally beat low% today I streamed a lot of it and the ganon battle was pro  like jiano said, pause buffering makes low% a bit easier but it's still really damn hard. I highly doubt a low% speedrun will be attempted anytime soon. |

In my pseudo-low% I'm just gonna fuck the moat skip and get the damn chicken and egg. It won't matter to me anyway since I'm getting Zelda's Letter anyway. (Assuming I ever get the Lizalfos to cooperate.)

@elminster: why are you not doing the moat skip? it's actually easier than it looks - just take out chu, hold z, jump, then tap r and mash b. i think you have to let go of z after shield dropping the chu but i'm not sure.

I don't think its being adult that makes it not work, but the fact that without NL you can't be exactly in the corner which is probably how it gets through. |
