Presenting Child MSG, or Medals/Stones/Ganon. The game is simple. Enter all 8 exit portals in the 8 major dungeons, then beat Ganon via using Farore's Wind warp ability to reach the final fight, without becoming an Adult. Using the warp ability of Farore's Wind before going through all 8 portals is forbidden. Additional Info: - The file name is "Kid MSG". Your starting equipment should consist of a Fairy Ocarina, the Megaton Hammer, Tunic C(yan), and the Mirror Shield.
- Dot Skip, and RBA are banned, though they should be impossible to do without using Farore's Wind to get the Master Sword on B. Opening the DoT should be impossible.
- Only three dungeons should give out full heart containers.
- Try and beat the game without using Boss Key skips, and obtaining every dungeon item.
If you think anything should be changed/fixed, feel free to post it. Edit: ZFG pointed out that Zelda's Lullaby is impossible to get, so I've fixed it by just having you start out with it. |

What is the point of doing this as child if you are just going to hack the game to give you adult items? You might as well just do "Get all major dungeon items and enter the boss room of every dungeon" on a normal, un-hacked copy of OoT. Also, MSG is bad for children: http://www.healthy-holistic-living.com/msg.html. 1) You cannot enter and beat every dungeon as a child in a normal copy of OoT. The Spirit Temple is the worst when it comes to this, as the proper cutscene doesn't play as a child, you can't equip the Mirror Shield, and the game crashes after you get the medallion. I didn't want to have to start out with the Megaton hammer, but unless there's some bizarre RBA-like glitch out there, it can't be avoided without modifying the ROM. 2) Fewer/shorter cutscenes/long dialog sequences. I rushed it a bit, and there's a number of cutscenes that I could have taken out (the one where you talk to Nabooru as a kid and Zelda's Lullaby is probably the worst ones I missed). 3) It's a different scenario. Admittedly, it's a lot like Max Child, but with an end game. I'm not entirely sure that it's beatable though. |

ZFG pointed out that Zelda's Lullaby is impossible to get, so I've fixed it by just having you start out with it.
Who would've thought that making the game think you had the OoT would cause so much trouble...

I'd assume it is like boomerang on adult: it is always usable, it is just impossible to equip without glitching. In this case, he put Megaton Hammer over an item normally equippable as child, so the game thinks it is okay to equip.

there's also the fact the game doesn't glitch up when you use the hammer, unlike the hookshot.

Farore's Wind has been pre-set to warp Straight to the final Ganon fight, which is why there's a ban on Farore's Wind. I would highly recommend that you do not save the game after warping, as you have only one shot at beating Ganon.

What emulator should I download for this? Any recommendations? EDIT: Can't get it to work on pj64, and can't get my wireless xbox 360 controller to work anyway, so I guess this is a no go  |

You don't need an emulator for this, its a save file for the VC version. Download the file to an SD card, save the file to your wii memory and when you start OoT you'll have this save.

I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes. RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.
