On the topic of noobish mario moments, look no further than Siglemic's live streams over the past couple weeks. Whether its the everyday victories of trolls saying Sig is a 300lb swedish girl who makes live TASes with Windows IMovie or the epic wins of preteens asking for a link to how he can make glitches in games, guessing a time of 12.7 when hes on the TTM slide, or asking why he only gets 120 stars when there are obviously 150 in the game. The important thing is that whenever Sig starts, they all are determined that THIS IS THE RUN, but only if he gets extra lives from Yoshi first.

Game breaking glitch in Skyward Sword, although I knew about this, I did not know, it was so easy to do in a normal gameplay. Also it took me many tries to do that stupid Drill Attack test.  |

In Skyward Sword I suck at the pumpkin shooting game. I know I have to fully load the arrow and hit the pumpkin, when it is in the target point. But with the delay of Fledge throwing the pumpkins and then throwing it in weird angels I cannot concentrate. Also you only get the score multiplier by shooting one arrow to avoid spamming arrows. So when you miss, you miss or have only 10 points each. |

My brother walked in on me watching Jiano's MM speedrun and said, "I hate this game. Hell, EVERYBODY hates this game. Even the people who made it hate it! OoT is so much better."
Me: If Nintendo had hated this game, they wouldn't have released and rereleased it. If everyone hated this game, this run would not exist."
Video: "Yeah, OoT sucked. That game was terrible."
When the guy sed OoT sucked, he gaped at the video, complained about three days and left.
This made me laugh to myself, not cry, but he's such a noob that he says "WHAT?!" every 10 seconds in a speedrun. At least he accepts that glitches are valid.

Last week, my friend came over while I was derping around on my 100% MM file. This was the conversation that followed.
Me: Hey dude.
Him: Hi. (sits down next to me)
Me: (fucks up superslide) Damn.
Him: Dude, what is that sword?
Me: The Great Fairy Sword. You get it when you find all the fairies in Stone Tower.
Him: No, I know that. I meant the B sword.
Me: (stares for a moment) The Gilded Sword...
Him: How do you get it, it looks fucking badass.
Me: (staring more) Dude, are you trolling me right now?
Him: No.
SILENCE
Me: You upgrade the Razor Sword with the Gold Dust.
Him: How do you get the Razor Sword?
Me: You're kidding me. You've had the game since it came out. How can you not have gone to the smithy?
Him: I've been to the smithy, but every time I go, he can't do anything cuz the forge is frozen.
SILENCE
Me: Have you ever heard of Fire Arrows?
Him: You can't use weapons inside a house. YOU'RE trolling.
(Silence as I warp and unfreeze forge w/ FA)
Him: ...Oh.
It turns out he really wasn't trolling. He had never gotten the GS. This made me very sad as he showed me many techniques for things like Aquaslide and BiT. Sorry for text wall...

heh i bet he's not the only one.
when i bought my second MM cart, it came with a file that was missing like 3 heart pieces and the GS. i couldn't understand how you'd get everything else and miss GS but it seens it isn't that rare.
