Failing town archery was a mistake, yes.
To Ikana castle, climbing over is faster than killing the block and watching the intro cutscene. However I took the risk of the frame precise goron bomb jump over and it didn't work too well, lol.
Dog race is pure luck; I'm really glad it didn't take more than 2 tries.

Thanks for watching and enjoying ;)

Now that it's done, are you planning to submit it to SDA, Kaztalek? If so, that'd be awesome not only because it looks to be an awesome run to watch (Youtube is slow), but downloading from SDA will be easier (RealPlayer download is slow, too).

All I need now is enough energy to sit straight through the 6-hour+ video! Can't wait!

The longer the run, the more mistakes happen, but that is also very entertaining.
Good job Kaztalek  Wink

Ah. Well, it was an awesome run anyway. It looked very well executed and, overall, was enjoyable to watch!

New record, 6:06:26

I used a slightly improved route, mainly for cycle 2 http://pastebin.com/2d12y8LA .  The real changes are just from bow to the end of cycle 2 and snowhead.  Pretty much all the rest is just keeta's route (with the exception of delaying the deku palace HP until after depositing the deku princess).  Some bomb/chu counts and pauses may be off because I'm lazy, but the important chu counts and rupees should all be correct.

I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes.

RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.

I'm gonna watch this run ZFG. I've watched Kaztalek's a few weeks ago and loved it Smiley

As a lurker, can I ask why you guys aren't submitting to SDA and why there's a 6:55 run there from '05?
Cheers and thanks for making this, it is good entertainment for any fans of the game

People here won't submit anything to SDA unless there's no chance of it ever being beaten without a huge new break. lol

I actually can't submit it to SDA since I didn't have a recording of the run itself and I can't submit a stream recording.  I didn't bother recording it since I wasn't really expecting something that good and my DVD recorder can only barely record over 6 hours and I didn't think it would be able to get the entire run.  I do plan on coming back to this later and trying to get a sub 6 hour run, and at that point I'd probably submit to SDA.

Is the playlist on Youtube the only available video of this run?
It's also on my twitch channel but the recording is exactly the same so you might as well watch it on youtube.

Keep in mind that it takes a lot of time for a completed run to go through the verification and publication process at SDA. Last I heard it took something like 2-3 months.

Depends how popular the game that needs to be verified is, I bet publication would be the only part that would take a while for a MM/OoT run.
