No, I meant the one in ET, but as I said I can pull off Kazooie's trick consistently now, so no worries there.

Anyhoo, I updated the route to where I do the Moblin skip in FF (I've been able to do it the past 3 times with no problems, hooray).

Yeah it was the one you mentioned with the black chus and the large block you push off the ledge to unlock the door. Least that was the only one I saw in the segmented route

Update: The route's been changed in DRC so that I don't do the bridge jump to the grapple switch. I'm just going to get the key normally BUT the death warp is staying.

Changed since well, this would be about 55 minutes into the run, and if I screwed up the bridge jump more than once then I wasted just as much time as if I had taken the normal route. It's just too hard to pull off for an SS as far as I see it. Sorry

Update on the run: Not much, still need to apply the new route and see what time I can get. Just been so frustrated and giving up when I screw stuff up :c
Also saw the request section at SDA, saw that a 3 heart WW run is wanted... I might consider low% for the hell of it now

Woot! I did my 1st SS any% My time was 8:39:59.

I recorded the times it took to get to certain parts of the game.
Any suggestions on where I need to improve would be great.

To get to the boat it took me: 14:02 (just talked to tetra.)
To get to FF it took me: 20:04 (a little into the cut scene.)
To get to Windfall it took me: 33:19 (when the windfall part of the cut scene started.)
To get to DRC it took me: 55:45 (right when you step in.)
To beat DRC it took me: 1:18:41 (when you step into the circle.)
To get to FW it took me: 1:34:53 (when you first step in.)
To beat FW it took me: 1:51:22 (when you step into the circle.)
To get the last Nayru's Pearl it took me: 2:28:03 (when you collect it.)
To get to TotG it took me: 2:35:36 (when you first step in.)
To beat TotG it took me: 2:55:59 (when you step into the circle.)
To get to Earth Temple: 4:18:33 (when the words pop up on the screen.)
To beat Earth Temple: 4:57:11 (when you step into the circle.)

With some work, you can shave off 15 minutes by the end of DRC. Aim to enter DRC within 45 minutes. Then do DRC in under 20 minutes, if I remember correctly?Aim for 4:40 at beating WT (1:10 faster LOL). A :30 ET and :32 WT hurt. 4 minutes to save in FW. A wee bit of memorization and you can get post WT down :40 to 2:10. That last 2 hours really hurt...

That sloppy guay can not finish this run sub-7.00. That needs years of training, extensive research and NOT GOING TO THE BLOODY BATHROOM EVERY 5 MINUTES!

Regarding the Molgera/Soup thing; Molgera goes down in 12 hits, regardless of any variable.

12 regular horizontals = 12 soup quickspins as far as Molgera is concerned.

Believe this or not, but I got 6:42 yesterday and I recorded it. But now the video won't play.
''Wind Waker SS Speed Run.mp4'' is not a valid MPEG-4 file.
No 'moov' atom could be found
Either ''Wind Waker SS Speed Run.mp4'' contains no 'moov' atom, or the file has been corrupted

The video is 2.1 GB in size so I can't put up here to prove, but does anyone know what the problem might be? Please, help me!

What is giving those errors? Have you tried playing the disc in the recorder? Is the disk finalized?

1. I don't know, it was the first time this happened. 2. Eh, I'm using a program on my computer to record, I'm not using a disc or anything. (Maybe I don't really understand now.) 3. I didn't do anything unusual when I recorded.
