Noooo. It makes me wonder when I try selecting that certain tile on the map screen, nothing much happens unless I spam it to eventually get a glitched screen. Now I'm curious about the memory watcher data showing why it only works on US version.

You mean with other versions? I mean, the glitch still exists, it just executes different code. The US version happens to do things in a way which can be manipulated (primarily by sprite positions on-screen).

Lol, the european version is trying to do something with the ring box. If you have a ring equipped you can see the blue "E" for "equipped" if you look closely. I don't see any way to exploit this.

The japanese version is even more tame, it doesn't seem to put a single byte out of line.
