I'm not going to do whole run attempts yet i will make about 3 save files and practice the tricks so i get consitent at them, that's why i probably won't Stream that many tries in the first month.
Another thing is that i can't stream and Record at the same time, so i can only practice while streaming

I know Runnerguy was talking about doing this, but well a little competition can't hurt anyone right, it only makes us better Grin as a matter of fact i don't really know if RG's still doing this :O

Edit: The time i'm aiming for is sub 1:10

And ofc there's no Pausebuffering any tricks

If anyone have something they like to add be my guest Smiley

1:14 is bad, I got that today and I had 3 deaths and tons of mistakes.  Sub 1:10 or bust.

EDIT: fixed the route

Lol I've actually been practicing this myself, but I'm sad to hear Runnerguy is doing it because that means I have no chance. Sad

- Tektite Hover and 5 Chu hovers to fishing pond

What? 5? I can get in 3 easily but that requires pausing to take off the hover boots and do a backflip. I'd say it'd be better to use the two chus on the second method in this video to HESS to Lost woods rather than megaflip HESS's http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=AV6gktbAeMY

Also, some mistakes in the route: You don't get the hookshot in this run.
- Hookshot ladder
- Hookshot to Top
- Hookshot ladder
- Hookshot to top

This is the route I made a while ago, which requires one less bomb drop.

-Sword+Shield,Escape
-WESS to Kakariko, start cucco collect and enter BotW
-Chus,leave,finish cucco collect for bottle
-Chu superslide teleport, enter Shadow Temple (C9)
-Chu megaflip, hover boots, suicide (C7)
-To market, DoT Skip

-Reverse DoT skip (equip bottle,chu,bomb)
-To Kakariko for egg and bugs
-HESS to Lake Hylia (C6)
-Tektite hover, steal rod (C3)
-Quick Bottle B (pause for chu, bomb, cucco)
-To Kakariko,wake talon,trade for cojiro
-Drop and catch bugs for bomb bag and quiver
-Get 10 bombs from Dampe grave
-Megaflip HESS to Lost Woods (B9)
-Pressure Jump (B8)
-Trade for mushroom, chu GC warp rock (C2)
-To Kakariko for potion, exit to Hyrule Field
-Megaflip HESS to Lost Woods (B7)
-Pressure Jump (B6)
-Through Goron City to DMT
-Chu rock on DMT and Magic cave rock (C0)
-Drop and recatch Bugs for songs
-Equip Ocarina over chus, play ZL for Magic
-Play Prelude, exit market
-Superslide to Gerudo Valley (B6)
-Hoverslide over valley, trade for sword (B5)
-RBA sword, equip MS
-Play Prelude for Light Arrows
-Enter Ganon's Castle
-Staircase Trials Skip (B3)
-Up the tower
-Ganondorf
-Castle Escape
-Superslide to Ganon (B2)

2 extra bombs for Huh

Finally, would it be faster to do Cosmo escape to avoid the fairy ocarina cutscene, although this would require ocarina items three times.

Exodus, your route misses the HESS to LH from kak which is the most time saving HESS of all.  The second HESS method in that video is probably faster, but only by a very small amount of time, and the first method is much easier.  Also, I think you should serenade after magic instead of prelude and go to GV from LH.  It costs an extra bomb but is about 15 seconds faster (I did in my 1:14).

First the bombchu's that i use to tektikte hover dosn't really matter, the only time it would save is pertty much blowing up boulder in Goron City.
and the reason i'm saying 5 chu's aswell, is this is a SS and i pretty much feel like playing it abit save with the tektite hover since it only saves about 4 secs with the boulder comparing with bomb the boulders normally.

The HESS/HISS strats that pokey shows in his video is to difficult to pull of twice, plus it will only save about 2secs + i need to change angle to get the correct angle to Lake hylia.

Cosmo escape, in a SS i'm sorry but we don't even do that in any% Segged, since it would be faster not to get shield and WESS escape, as a matter of fact i'm thinking about doing WESS escape out of the forest,  then i could get Deku shield and Hylian shield in BOTW and skip the 200R chest

But that would mean you would need to crawl in the hole twice, once for the shields and once for the actor glitch. I think It would be faster to do it the normal way with the rupee route + the clip into shop, don't you think ?

Its faster for segd to get the shields from botw, but remember in ss you'll need to leave the back area of kokiri forest anyway and go right next to the shop to do the wess anyway, the only time saved would be less rupees and faster text.  I'm pretty sure the time to crawl through the hole extra times is about the same as the extra rupees/text, but harder, so I would stick with the crouch stab escape.

The most interesting aspect about this run is determining the amount of bombs and the ways to get them. For example, look at this theory:

-Getting black gaunts is literally 6 seconds.
-Picking up 5 bushes is 6 seconds also.
-51 seconds to Dampe and back to cucco lady for 5 bombs.
-Each additional drop from grave is 19 seconds

So if you go from Cojiro, straight out to Hyrule field (picking the 5 bushes along the way), and then you pick those 5 bushes again on your second trip through Kakariko after getting odd potion. Then assume you get 1 bomb drop from those 10 bushes (decent chance I think):

-You've got 5 bombs and X chus (let's say 3 because Exodus could have 3 assuming the WESS across hyrule the first time was used).

-1 WESS across hyrule with a bomb (loss of 14 seconds since you can only do it once)
-no pressure jumps (loss of 8 seconds x 2 = 16 seconds)
-chu GC boulders
-chu boulder up mountain
-chu fairy fountain wall
-SS across Gerudo
-Hoverslide
-SS to ganon
-1 extra

Time lost:
6 seconds for black gaunts
6 seconds x 2 = 12 seconds for picking up those 10 bushes
14 seconds across hyrule field
16 seconds missing two pressure jumps
15 seconds from older trials skip

= 63 seconds lost

But wait...you didn't have to spend any time getting bombs from graveyard. What if
you go to the graveyard and get 2 drops (from dampes)?

51 + 19 = 70 seconds gained.

So in reality, the route with the black gaunts was faster. It even has MORE potential,
let's say you don't need that 1 extra and you get the bomb drop from the first 5 bushes.
Well now you can HESS across hyrule both times. And what if you get really lucky
and get 1 drop from the 5 bushes on both trips? Well now you've only lost 1 pressure jump and can
do all the other superslides you'd want.

Some other numbers that may be useful:

1 try on graveyard bushes with chu and back = 20 seconds
Each additional try with chu = 10 seconds

Well now it gets complicated; you don't need the gaunts and you can blow up these
bushes 3 times in 40 seconds. Can you get 2 (or 3) drops? How often will you get those drops? If you don't get the drops now do you reset as you wasted chus/time?

That's why I don't like this route anymore...it seems like the truly best time you'd get would involve an insane amount of luck. And it becomes a balance: How much luck are you willing to inject into your run?

Additionally, getting the deku shield and then doing bridge clip escape is indeed faster, by as much as 30 seconds if done on the first try. Notice I say bridge clip and not Cosmo escape; the one I am talking about requires 3 total nuts. And yes, that is doable about 6 minutes into a SS if you ask me; I was planning on it if I went the "Get bombs from graveyard" route.  It would require 3 OIs which means 3 extra bombs, most likely another lucky drop or another trip to dampe's grave (19 seconds as mentioned previously)

Also:
Also, I think you should serenade after magic instead of prelude and go to GV from LH.  It costs an extra bomb but is about 15 seconds faster (I did in my 1:14).
I timed this to be about 3 seconds faster, not 15. Maybe there is a strategy I'm missing. I did megaflip -> HESS out of the water to the loading zone.

Feel free to dispute any other numbers you like, I have videos to back them up but if you disagree with the numbers I can upload them and maybe see a faster strat somewhere that would change things. And of course it's always possible I made a mistake somewhere too.

Okay I updated it to incorporate Runnerguy's "luck strats" and also added the missing HESS to Hylia. Hopefully I didn't overlook anything...

The first number next to the B when counting bombs is if you get a bomb drop your second time in Kakariko (when you trade for Cojiro)
The second number is if you get a bomb drop in your third visit to Kakariko (when you trade for odd potion)

-Sword+Shield,Escape
-WESS to Kakariko, start cucco collect and enter BotW
-Chus,leave,finish cucco collect for bottle
-Chu superslide teleport, enter Shadow Temple (C9)
-Chu megaflip, hover boots, suicide (C7)
-To market, DoT Skip

-Reverse DoT skip (equip bottle,chu,bomb)
-To Kakariko for egg and bugs
-Chu HESS to Lake Hylia (C6)
-Tektite hover, steal rod (C3)
-Quick Bottle B (pause for chu, bomb, cucco)
-Drop and recatch bugs for colored gaunts
-To Kakariko,wake talon,trade for cojiro
-Drop and catch bugs for bomb bag and quiver
-Leave Kakariko picking up the 5 bushes on the way for a bomb drop (B0,5) (if you don't get one keep going without megaflip HESS)
-Bomb Megaflip HESS to Lost Woods (B4,0)
-Through Kokiri Forest to Lost Woods
-Trade for mushroom, chu GC warp rock (C2)
-To Kakariko for potion, pick up 5 bushes for a bomb drop again (if you haven't gotten one drop after both tries then reset)
-Exit to Hyrule Field
-Bomb Megaflip HESS to Lost Woods (B3,4)
-Through Kokiri Forest to Lost Woods
-Through Goron City to DMT
-Chu rock on DMT and Magic cave rock (C0)
-Drop and recatch Bugs for songs
-Equip Ocarina over chus, play ZL for Magic
-Play Prelude, exit market
-Superslide to Gerudo Valley (B2,3)
-Hoverslide over valley, trade for sword (B1,2)
-RBA sword, equip MS
-Play Prelude for Light Arrows
-Enter Ganon's Castle
-Older trials Skip
-Up the tower
-Ganondorf
-Castle Escape
-Superslide to Ganon (B0-1)

I'm not sure that the gaunts strategy is best; if you have chus and can use them on the bushes that way might be better. It really depends on how many drops you want and how much luck you want to have in the run. It has very good potential if you can get a drop each time though.

Sub 1 hour...!! Submit

I did some testing and i tested it to be about 5 secs faster to equip hoverboots and get on the brigde even though your on GC, will be slower if you dont get a superslide on first try though

Another thing is the superslides here and there, they would approximatly each save about 2-4 secs depends on how well the superslides are pulled of. (wouldn't save any time if their non backwalking)
And if you fail a Superslide it will take about 1-3 secs so you have to pull more of than you fail for this to work out
Might actually skip doing some superslides and then skip 1 bomb drop, and if i get 1 less bomb drop i might skip going to the grave at all but then i need to use Chu explosions for the bombdrops

If i don't get sub 1:10 in about a month or so i will submit my best run which right now is 1:10:58 might also upload it when youtube allows my freaking Channel to upload more than 15min video's
