When I'm doing attempts for segments, I've only done this in one segment; and it was segment 7 of my previous run because the first 3 minutes where all just easy dropping/catching bugs and hoping for a bomb drop. I would turn the music off if I got a bomb drop. I expect to do it for tektite hover segment and segment 7 again. In almost all other cases the game audio is more important to me and helps me stay focused on the game.

I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes. RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.

I like listening to music when doing boring, repetitive things, but it makes me miss superslides

I listen to songs during the long and boring cutscenes, but never during gameplay.

I remove one of the audio component cable and I put another audio system. It's great for games you can turn music off like ssbm, ffcc... For zelda running, audio is very importent and I sometimes use headphones to focus even more.

At my TP run seg 13 my brother was hearing music really loud, cousing disconcetration, though the segment was goo, just a couple of mistakes

I do the same thing. But if I really am in no mood to listen to the in game music I use my super secret hacker moves and disable the music myself. Of course I would never do that with a Zelda game though.

The audio doesn't work on my TV, so I always have on music. Usually something instrumental so I don't get distracted.
