I could do a french version of the commentaries. On some french zelda site I used to teach glitches and speedrunning to people, and they may enjoy those commented pro runs.

doing translated commentaries sounds like a good idea.

one problem i can think of, however, is how to handle technique names. would the english names be used or would they be translated into the target language?

Haha!  Grin This sounds so wrong...

I already thought about that, and I think we should keep the english names. I did some tutorials a long time ago for french forums and I was keeping english names. Nobody seemed to dislike it.

It is the same thing than with SSBM techniques: european players say "wavedash" and not "vagueruée" or "wellestrich".
