1 The position Link needs to be in is too precise
2. The tecktite is too unpredictable
3. If you are fourtunate enough to be in the right spot you have a good chance of screwing up the superflip
When I heard comments on IRC like "I bet I could do that with little practice" "Runnerguy will need to incorparate this into his Segmented run" I was rolling on the floor with laughter. I came up with a theory for this trick about a year ago, and me and SL quickly gave up on it. Until I suggested it to Bloobiebla who got credible results, so close it might just seem possible. Many months later he eventually cracked it and uploaded a video a couple of days ago.
In light of the comments I heard eariler I've decided to put a $200 bounty to anyone who can pull it off on a console.
The stipulations are...
1. Must be recorded and streamed live on a web cam. This to avoid any chance it could be an emulated recording
2. Must be done within an hour of recording. I don't want to sit there bored for 6 hours until you're lucky enough to succeed.
3. Must be done by the Midnight on April 11th EST. I think thats the most suitable timezone to go by for people on this site.
4. Have a PayPal account to transfer money to. I'm not sending anything by mail.
5. Time will start on entering Lake Hylia from Hyrule Field.
6. I have to be present during the live recording. Post the link on IRC when I'm there.
7. If you fail to successfully do it within an hour you will not be allowed to try a second time.
