You're most likely holding down too long after the first backflip, causing you to be too close to the warp. Or you are press A too late after pressing down, causing you to move before the backflip. Either way, just make sure you are pressing the A button and down on the stick at about the same time.
If it's not that you're lining up with the wall wrong.

It looks like your input for ocarina items is too slow, when I watch your first video. Make sure you press bottle and then sword very quickly after backflipping.
Don't bother with what you are doing in the second video. The setup should definetely work, so don't add any stupid variables into the process like tiny steps forward.

Yeah, that was definitely slow on the ocarina items. The sword takes I think 3 frames to pull out all the way so you need to be pretty fast using the bottle then sword, though it's still a pretty large window of error.

You have a bad previous cutscene. It won't work from the title screen cutscene so you'll have to watch a different one. Either that or go back to link's house and pause which is suppose to fix it.

I'm having a lot of trouble finding a consistent setup for a bomb megaflip past the waterfall to get into Zora's Domain. I tried many different angles and distances and couldn't get one to work more than once. Any help would be appreciated!

Basically you let go of Z, advance one frame, press Z again and then you need to wait at least one frame for holding left on your analog stick (I'm not sure of this last step tbh). Are you doing these steps correctly? Maybe your execution of the setup isn't correct, which makes your angle a little off. You could try another setup. |

What you're doing wrong is holding left too quickly. You need to wait something like 2-12 frames before holding left, so you have about a half second before you've actually screwed up. Just try to wait a split second before holding left.
