I keep telling you gentlemen that I would fix it but nobody will let me have the ftp password becuase nobody trusts me anymore >_>

anyways use www.mibbit.com or get mIRC and use that in the meantime....

this even looks more and more confusing to me...
i'm on mibbit... select server...
type in:
irc.speeddemosarchive.com:6667

and in channel i type zelda in it...

but i'm always in a metroid channel... and it gives me an error when i try to write smth -.-

I forget how well mibbit does or does not support 'manual' commands like /join /server etc.

type /server -m irc.speeddemosarchive.com
then in the sda tab type /join #zelda
-m may be optional

IRC has a bit of a learning curve compared to stuff like AIM and MSN, but in no time at all you realize what you have been missing! No advertisements, no animated smiles or anything. Only text can truly convey the meaning of  :3   >_>   D;   :D   <¯<
