so im new here, not new to Glitching, i can sub 1:30 in any%, idno if thats actually and acheivement or not, but whatever, i decided that i may aswell join this place make myself actually a legit runner right?

so i was trying out some shit with picking up the mastersword for the first time and then rocking up as an adult with bottle on B... so stealing rod+DoT skip with a deku stick on B is easy enough (took a while to find the angle correctly) and im trying to catch a fish and pickup the sword, (coz theres that 1 frame where u can do shit)
now, if you drop a fish infront of the MS then you cant pick it up while youre in range of the fish, this way to fishy (pun intended) for my liking, why did Nintendo make it so u cant grad the sword when there was a fish in the way? so idno... there are sometimes when you can actually catch the fish + grab sword but i cant get the position consistent enough so that i can test a whole bunch of different methods for pause buffering + grabbing the sword... idno, any1 else got any ideas?

included pic with the deku stick lineup ofr DoT skip, incase you wanted Cheesy

That's strange how you cant pick up the master sword with a fish in the way.  Also nice job doing deku stick DoT skip.

And yes, sub 1:30 is definitely a good time for a beginner, so good job with that too!

I for one think that there are no glitches in OoT. It's just gameshark codes.

RBA stands for Rare Bird Adventure. We call it that because we need to get the blue cucco in order to use it.

Okay, figured out a setup for fire temple mega sidehop bk skip with a chu:
1. Get into the corner
2. Angle yourself the same as if for the superslide method (like DoT skip)
3. Roll twice
4. Sidehop
5. Backflip
6. Let go of L, then press it again (prevents from any wierd side rolling)
7. Roll once
8. Pull out the chu and do mega sidehop (to the right)
9. Hold Right
10. When the cage room is in the middle of your screen jumpslash and hold forward
Notes: Hoverboots make this a bit easier. The angle is incredibly precise.

I can make a vid of this, if anyone needs it.

Here's a good angle alignment for the backflip Mido skip. Align with the wall and get against Mido, then put the left side of the B button in the center of the third dark tree gap from the right of the concrete thing as shown. It gets me over Mido about 95% of the time and the B button doesn't have to be perfectly centered in the gap, it's pretty forgiving.
