LADX Rooster skip hookshot jump method help

When i attempt rooster skip to get the bird key i can't manage to ever consistently get it I always fall before i can do another hookshot jump and another problem is when i fall i have to go back which wastes quite a bit of time. Please help me

You can try the buffered rooster skip, which is easier, even if it involves some RNG.
