Power Crouch Stab A Glitch?

Hi

Is the Power Crouch Stab a glitch?
I see it used in glitchless runs. Just wondering if it is a glitch or not.
I think it is because of the damage done that can beat the bosses faster than expected.
The glitchless rules don't have to be changed if the PCS is considered a glitch.

Yes, it's a glitch or else it won't have been removed for MM (outside of JP version).

I find it hard to imagine Nintendo didn't know about the power crouch stabs, when making the game. Also, it's really easy to execute and such a minor thing, that it would be silly to ban in glitchless. Doing it by accident would happen anyways.
