Going to send it now, took ~2185 frames, counting from the given savestate until the first frame you can see the Gerudo training grounds text.
I think I did OK Smiley

EDIT: I couldn't wait getting it online, so I uploaded my own version too: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=983EruKh7KU
I think I might upload my previous entry later

Where do I see the youtube compilation?  And also, please make it neat and presentable unlike the last one.  Please show the person's name and time before their section of the video, and in the description, put people's times and rerecord accounts.  I'll edit this post if I think of anything else you should do.  Maybe put in background music?

I completely agree. The last video was... how do you say it without insulting anyone / anything... not very professional. Try doing some of this stuff next time please.

Is this already closed? I'm working on mine (hadn't started yet) right as I am typing this.
I might be done in an hour or two if I can get link to regain his sense of direction.

Edit: I finished, and due to link having no sense of direction, I did poorly at around frame 550 (link would not turn properly) of my .m64 and did really really badly (for a TAS) from frame 1700 until the end of the recording. (this time link had absolutely no sense of direction and forced me to do the unload trick after the seamwalk non-tas) Sad
I'll send it anyway. I likely will lose though as mine is longer than a minute.

EDIT 2: Also if it has added background music my only request is no lyrics, cause I don't care for lyrics very much.

Agreed about the no lyrics thing.  And when WILL it be done?  I want to see it.  Also, does anyone else have trouble with their encodes?  Whenever I encode my TASes, they're a black screen with the sounds happening, Idk why it does this.  I try to use Xvid, if it helps.

I use AVISynth, and virtualdubmod to encode my TASses, but I've only encoded 2d TASses so far. You can also just look at TASvideos.org Somewhere there is an article about encoding TASses. Hope this helps!

It happens with all my codecs, just I usually use xvid.  Idk why, I don't think it really matters.  I hope I'll figure it out eventually.

The same thing used to happen to me, but I fixed it. If your on Windows Vista, right-click Mupen, click Properties, select the "Compatibility" tab, and check "Disable Desktop Composition" and that should hopefully help. It was somebody on this forum who told me this but can't remember who/where.

Thanks so much dekuscrub, I finally got an encode to work! Cheesy  Also, to poptart, did you encode the last competition using hypercam?  Please use a proper codec.

Codec? Don't you mean recording method?

Yeah, I guess.  I'm just glad I can finally encode.  I don't need to ask people every time I need to encode something.
