Hi, I would like to know how to get fish in the Fishing Pond that are above 20 pounds. My record is 22 lbs. as adult Link, and 11 lbs. as child Link.

It seems that the weight for the fish by the sunken log is always randomly generated around 18-20 lbs upon entering the Fishing Pond. Is there a trick to make the biggest possible fish appear? I'm pretty sure 26 is the largest for adult Link, and 13 for child Link.

But I don't know how to get them without catching and re-entering hundreds of times.

Sadly no, It's based on luck. It took me a long time just to find a 20 lb and get the sinking lure. But the only reason you need to fish is for the Heart piece (Young Link - Catch a 10 lb +) and Golden Scale ( Adult Link - 15 lbs+ ). You only need a 20 lb or more for sinking lure, which only enables you to catch a Loach.

Also, i wait a while when i enter, i think when all those tiny blue fish come, the bigger fish eat them and gain more weight. ( Not sure if this is true ) Undecided

You don't need a 20lb+ fish, I got the Sinking Lure with a 19lb one ;x

I think they did make the fishing harder. I lose fish more often than I ever did on 64.
