Fastest Majora's Mask VC version? :p

First off I'm sorry if this was already asked, but please help out a fella?
Before we get into that I would like to introduce myself, names Nick, I am pretty noobie to speedrunning and am still trying to learn the basic glitchs.

So to the question, what is the fastest version of MM? Japenase, EU? When I mean fast I mean as in text speed AND framerate(because the US VC Lags)
Im trying to find the fastest to install on my US Wii, just want to make sure what is, also is the J1.0 in its own catogory? IMO I think it should be in a different catogory.

Probably Japanese VC the only place where it lags alot is Great bay temple main room

JP VC is probably the fastest, then USA VC. SEVERAL tricks and glitches are different in JP vs US, but for any% the JP version is probably around 1 minute faster. USA VC is still quite fast (if you think that's laggy, wait until you see the N64 or Gamecube versions, or any PAL release). Most runners here use the USA VC version if they play on VC.

JP is only about 30-40 seconds faster, not 1 minute. Although Majora is a lot faster on JP, there are tons of disadvantages that partially cancel it out.

Is that counting the faster version of PF at night? I remember hearing around 30 seconds before that was known, and PF is definitely faster on JP.

Yeah, it was about 20-30 seconds before the new PF trick. IIRC the new PF trick is an extra 10-20 seconds. You can only really give estimates for how much faster JP is because of the JP version of turtle cutscene skip varying so much in its speed.
