EDIT2: Nevermind, petrie911 kindly told me that I need a bottle to catch the Big Poes in in the first place. I can't believe I overlooked that; I feel like an idiot.

I have now very close to get everything what I can get in this challenge and cosmo I have 55 skultulas on my quest status screen. I don't know what you or somebody else have missed. I have got all hearts 14 3/4 hearts but not that shadow temple one yet.

I can make list of skulltulas later if you want. Btw you should update your first post about jiano trick to beat shadow temple

does max% adult aquaescape with a stick now? i assume you can get deku shield as adult so it doesnt really make a difference anyway.

Yeah, I'm pretty sure since you're supposed to get to Adult with as few items as possible. This also makes getting the Kokiri Sword impossible now.

Regarding that route, do you need the bow for the fire temple? If not, you could go to DMC in segment 11 after getting the goron tunic, get the heart pieces, GS, and end the segment in the Fire temple after getting the first small key. Next segment you could get all the fire GS's, the hammer, and fire medallion, get the bolero, and savewarp. Segment after that, you could play the bolero, get the GS in the boulder room of GC, and go to the lost woods and continue where segment 11 would have been. This saves a trip up death mountain and splits the otherwise longer segment 11 in half.

If you use a chu in Kakariko to get the ReDead grotto's rupees after getting the adult's wallet, then you can buy the Giant's Knife on your first trip through GC, which would save time on bosses.

Well the idea is to basically play the game as if there was no Child sequence. Yes, it's still one item, but you can always get Deku Sticks as an Adult while the Kokiri Sword is unobtainable.

From what I know, that route is old. Since we discovered Jabu Jabu as an Adult and the A-slide trick, the Boomerang, a Heart Container, and many more Gold Skulltulas are possible to get. I actually found out how to open the door on the 1st floor of the Water Temple, enabling you to get all the GS in there. Right now I have 61 GS and 16 Hearts and I don't think I can get more.

I tried hovering all the way across the Ferry gap in the Shadow Temple but the slope at the end makes it almost impossible to proceed. I think I'll give it another go with a superslide at the end or something.

By hovering across the ferry chasm, do you mean using ISG+explosives, or hoverboots?

After seeing that Boss Key skip from the first room of the Shadow Temple, I wouldn't be surprised if it was possible to hover through the loading zone to the Kokiri sword area to make the chest load. Or is the trigger to load the map just not there as an adult?

You can do A-slides with pause buffering. It's just not practical to use them for speed; there's a trick involving A-slides that moves the camera under the ground you're currently on if you pull out a first person item, which lets you do stuff like Hookshot to the Ice Arrow chest without any keys.

It is possible to load the Kokiri Sword area as an adult. The only problem is the Kokiri Sword chest isn't there.
