All Fused Shadows Speed Run

I noticed on twitch there's been a few fused shadow run races.
If the only requirement is to obtain fused shadows, then "fixed" ems is faster by 12:30 when optimized.

1. collect some faron tears, super jump to ledge, enter sacred grove
2. statue minigame opening way to master sword
3. don't get master sword yet
4. save, reset, exit sacred grove, fall into void 3 times sending you back to south faron, collect rest of tears
5. forest temple, goron mines, bomb bag
6. go back to north faron emptying some of the bomb bag along the way
7. lja + bomb boost onto ledge, enter sacred gove, empty the rest of the bomb bag

10. water bomb chest in first room of lakebed, clawshot

Couldn't you buy water bombs and then enter lakebed without pillar clip? Seems like it'd be easier for a race...

Barnes won't sell water bombs until Lanayru twilight is clear.

Then couldn't you get fishing rod and fish out water bombs? I'm pretty sure that'd still be faster...

Getting the fishing rod would be several minutes slower. You'd have to do the 1st goat herding, get rod, push bokoblins for Trill to kill to save Talo. You'd also still have to get fixed ems if you are entering lakebed in lanayru twilight. In order to fish out water bombs, you'd have to be a wolf to dig into the grotto, then turn back into a human to fish, which requires ems.

You wouldn't have to push bokoblins; I think it's faster to just get slingshot if you're already getting rod.

And yeah, it would be several minutes slower, but still faster than not doing fixed EMS (you said it saves 12 and a half minutes).

4:00 roll from kakariko village to bottom of death mountain, climb to goron, get knocked off by goron, tame epona, ride to ordon village (not counting Bo fight, since it's done in BIT as well)
2:40 warp to kakariko village, ride epona to grotto, dig, catch 2 bombfish, exit
total = 14:30

Using water bombs to enter lakebed in lanayru twilight takes 12:45 longer than pillar clip. It is even a little slower than BIT (no fixed ems route).
Yeah, pillar clip is very annoying. But you can fail it like 6 times, have a 10 bomb morpheel fight, and it would still be faster than BIT (no fixed ems) route.
