Need help with Rupee Dive

So I just joined today. I've been watching speedruns and noticed to get into lakebed temple early, i need to do the rupee dive. I get the basic gist, I just dont know exactly what to do. Do I:

-dig up a blue rupee
-lock on with boomerang
-run over to edge
-stand on edge and jump strike the rupee?

I get the gist, I just need to know details. Sometimes the boomerang brings the rupee directly to my wallet, sometimes it leaves it next to me. If you have done this before, what is the definitive way to get it done?

Sorry that I don't know a lot about rupee dive, but for something that is a bit less random, you could also use the pillar clip.

Thanks a lot. I saw the equivalent video by logitech sdaz but this one came out a week ago and this guy got in a tenth of a second faster (which is like twice as fast lol). I'll definitely try this later today.

There isn't one. Even if you dig up a rupee, the trick is still hit or miss.
