Title: R.I.P
Post by: BluRi on September 29, 2009, 01:04:46 PM

: ( Another controller lost the fight to liver water damage today : (

I lost SSBM, while I took it out of the wii to put brawl in for the first time. I attempted to clean the disk on my friends trackies... snap.  :-X

While I was writing the R.I.P signs... I 'accidently' snapped my pen : ( and after attempting to bandage it back up.. it shortly died by loss of blood ink  :o

I also have three n64 controllers buried amongst the shit in my cupboard : (

How have your troops fallen?

Game Collection Status Report

I have a few M.I.A.s, namely my LttP copy, my Pokemon Silver and Crystal versions (i didn't even beat the elite four when I lost Crystal  :-\). Actually, i haven't played my gameboy advance in a long time, and I'm not entirely sure where my collection of games are hiding...

Also, Diddy Kong Racing was eaten alive by a mouse, and i've mutilated an N64 controller.

Console Collection Status Report

NES - Last time it was played, it would run for about 5 minutes before something inside it clicked and triggers screen flashes. The power adaptor is missing as well

N64 - Controller ports haven't been the same since my dad chucked it out into the incomplete addition to my house

GCN - my dad "FALCON PAAAAAAAAAAAUNCH!!!!!"ed it

Wii - Doesn't play Brawl

Gameboy player diskis too scratched to play anymore and one of my memory cards got corrupted once.  Nothing other than that, I take good care of my stuff :P

I've lost many handheld games, but I actually take good care of my games and hardware.  My Xbox has killed a couple of my games (might take a picture, so many deep scratches), and of course I've destroyed about 4 different copies of Twilight Princess, but besides that, nothing.

Oh, my gamecube is kind of wrecked, but I'm getting a new one tomorrow anyway.

My Wii sounds like a jackhammer

My N64 controller has gone through a lot through the years I'm surprised it still works well. I've smashed, thrown, and even kicked it into things from frustration. The analogue stick is a little loose and sometimes the buttons randomly stop working but those are the only downsides. Also I broke my reset button on the N64 console by pressing it too hard. <_< On my GCN my sister snapped the AR memory card in half.... so now no hax :(

Well, my aunt got me a piece of shit controller one year and a gba ar the next, both of which got mutilated.

Nothing else really. It'll be a sad day when my N64 stops working, although I'm probably one of the few people who never have to blow in the carts.

oh and my one memory card got corrupted, which was bad because of all my 1-p melee scores on it

haha, I'm the only one that can use my n64. You have to push the cartridge in a certain way and pretty much hold it there untill the game starts ; /

My Wii sounds like a jackhammer

As does mine.

My first GC died mysteriously, as did one of my memory cards.

Once I lost a memory card on the way to a friends house without noticing it. I found it 3 weeks later in the dirt and it still worked.

my gamecube pretty much broke steright away, it was a peice of trash.. and one of my N64 controllers does not work but I got it for free so, it's expectable...

my N64 has pretty much lived through the bad times and it still works perfectly...

One of my GCN controllers is really fucked up. Sometimes when I'm in the middle of playing a game the L button will randomly decides to stop working until I completely reboot the system.

most notable ones for me include a broken GC and a broken Wii.
GC's laser died and the Wii's flash memory kicked the bucket.

outside that, it is just controllers dying from too much use over the years. my other consoles and games still work fine.

games that have died: 2 (Mario Party 1 and Wario Land 2. i replaced WL2 since it happened when the game was still sold but i found out MP1 died this year lol)
