Title: Hardest Glitch
Post by: Razor7581 on October 12, 2010, 12:47:51 AM
We all have them; the zelda glitches that drive you insane to do and/or you try to avoid at all costs. Feel free to include a few or a whole list if you want.

Mine:
TP- Sword & Shield Skip (I know everyone says it's easy, but I hate it)
OoT- Sideflip Hovering

OoT- Contortion Hovering

lol are you serious? It's really easy. Just hold Z facing away from an ledge, pull out hookshot and hold down on the control stick completely. Wait until his view stops changing and press A to backflip. Quickly let go of hookshot followed by chu then shield. I find it just as easy as normal hovering.

WW-Clip through doors @ ToG
It's not that difficult; just align yourself at an acute angle w/the wall & take it slow when you're backwalking.

for mm angle change, just DON't press L or Z target when you backflip, then shield the chu and immediatly Z/L target and you should unlock angle change, you just need to be fast enough and It should work.

Also while I'm at it, for me the hardest is lullaby skip, then stt bk skip. :P

That's what I do, I guess I'm not fast enough.

Mirror shield from outside. I have nothing but hatred for that infinitely respawning guay. I can't even be bothered to practice the trick because of the guay so I go the long way around through the front entrance.

First, do the setup, then hold R and L/Z and shield the guay when it attacks you. When it flies away, then do the superslide. When you're walking on the seams, just take out your Hookshot when a guay comes and kill it. But when your standing on the horizontal seam, you can just let them hit you without being knocked down, if you stand still. Once you're up on either hands, they won't attack you anymore.

The first superslide to land on the horizontal seam is the hardest part of the whole trick, if you can make that, the rest is really easy. You should try it more.

When I'm next around the area I think I'll give it a go to see if I can get it remotely consistent so as to incorporate it in my Any% no RBA run.

You have to put your hands in a really awkward angle if you use GC. Id say get a GC to N64 adapter.
I suggest something like the one from raphnet.
