Title: Question incoming
Post by: Xelna on July 04, 2013, 03:24:25 AM
Hello everyone!

I was wondering... what does it take in order to play a japanese version game (Gamecube game) in North America? Obviously you need the jap. game itself , but then do you need the jap. Gamecube, a jap. controller and a voltage converter?

Thanks!

You can buy a freeloader too

I have a modchip in my Gamecube which should make it region free (never tried it, and Wind Waker JP is expensive).

On Gamecube: Use an action replay freeloader.
On Wii: Use Neogamma on a softmodded wii.

The freeloader sounds like a good idea, but doesn't it require to be inserted back in your GameCube every time you want to load your imported game?
