Post by: Greenalink on August 24, 2012, 06:14:02 PM I got a physical copy 2 days before European Release date, because the Download price is shucking awful in the UK. eShop's £39.99 vs Retail's/Online £29.99. The only incentive for the eShop version is to be awarded with double virtual currency on a Nintendo Website. Japan's was better as it was Donkey Kong Anniversary edition, basically all 4 levels in NES 8-bit style that includes the factory level.
The other benefits of a retail copy is to create actual backup saves with the Nintendo DS Adapter+ device and a decent boxart. Title: Re: Download or Buy NSMB2? Post by: doommaker on August 25, 2012, 02:59:47 AM ok since I couldnt find a ride to the nearest gaming store I just bought a Visa gift card from Sobeys (which is like a 3min bike ride from my house so I was like whatever)....
so I activated the card,went to eshop made a $50 card setup blah blah blah.... and at the end it said "card cannot be used" so I checked my cards account on Visa's website and it said: 08/24/2012 08/24/2012 Value Load - A2A - BLACKHAWK NETWORK (BHN) Can$50.00 - PENDING TRANSACTIONS - 08/25/2012 Purchase - NINTENDO DIGITAL GAMES 800-255-3700 CA (Can$50.00) with $0.00 on my card...WTH DO I DO NOW!!!!!?!?! the transaction cant be cancelled either....
