Title: New Game to Odd Mushroom Chest TAS Post by: TomNook120 on November 05, 2011, 01:39:16 AM I'm contemplating creating a new TAS catagory; New Game to Odd Mushroom Chest.
Reasons this is a cool idea: - Utilizes few items - Would/Should include basic skips such as Forest Escape and Early BotW - Requires traveling across HF to an area Speedrunners don't usually travel to - Short Rupee route (if using Pokey's Stick method to get into the fortress) - Large amount of areas to optimize - It ends in an area and at an unexplained mushroom-bearing chest that represents what our OoT obsession is all about And most of all, it's newer! Should excite the minds of speedrunners, and it being a TAS should help the creative process. You would still need a chu to megaflip to the chest.
