So I'm playing segment 2, since segment 1 I got first try. Next thing I know this shit happens (at end of video) I don't even understand. I've done this before dozens of times. Post by: Exodus122 on October 18, 2011, 01:38:50 AM That happens sometimes. I believe it's because the cucco was damaged too little. The jumpslash can do 2 or 3 (or maybe 4?) damage depending on how you hit it damage so you probably activated the scene on the last frame of the the jumpslash hitting the cucco, causing you to not dive.

It looks like prior to the jump slash, not that much damage was dealt to the cucco, so Link was able to fall into the water before dealing the required damage to make it rage.

Post by: delicious_infection on October 21, 2011, 03:47:26 AM generally, this only happens when the cut-scene starts after 3 or more hits of the cuckoo, since I usually do it with the first cuckoo generally that you see in Kakariko, I usually throw it and jumpslash it twice to get the damage on it, I think that perhaps throwing it on the hill has an effect on how much damage you deal to it, but I am too lazy to toy around with it right now.
